Came here from Tennessee for paper mill job , was pretty good dont see why people would leave such bad reviews when its not as bad as it looks at all . Great stayed for a week ✔️
(Nightmare in Montezuma)The front desk clerk gives us a non- smoking room, then she changes our room to a smoking room. We were sent to this place, this town, as our son was sick and hospitalized nearby. Tired as we were from driving, we just wanted to get some rest. Little did we know, we had other guests (pest insects) with us in our room: Blood thirsty (bed bugs) which I awoke to itching and biting, sucking my blood, and that wasn't all. I had to hug and hold my husband and use him as a human mattress, in order for bugs not to climb on me. Trying to go to the bathroom, now I see roaches. I reported it to the front desk clerk, and her solution is she wants to give us yet another infested room. Well I demanded a refund and got the hell outta there to stay in nearby Perry, which was much better, cleaner and no vermin. I recommend to stay out of Montezuma as the town is infested, go to Perry. This front desk lady was evil, she knew that room was infested, and it took till the next day for her to refund and put my money back on my credit card. Your hotel is infested. You are allowing the infestation to spread for people to get bitten. That's wrong and causing deliberate harm to people, especially the elderly and children, who do not deserve to be eaten alive by vermin...
If I could rate it a ZERO I would I pull my sheets back to find hairs all over one bed check the other bed & there's some brown substance dried crumbling off (disgusting) you tell front desk lady she acts like it's no big deal just bring sheets and get more! Wth?! U don't think U should change them, not me? She has a nasty attitude as it is! Then you have children running up and down the hallway on top floor all day, riding the chairs with wheels up in down the outside hallways at 8:30 at night! I will DEFINITELY NEVER stay here again! & for $95 a night that's a HIGH RIP OFF! Thanks for screwing people evacuating from a HURRICANE! We really appreciate it! EVEN IF THIS IS THE ONLY HOTEL AVAILABLE DON'T STAY, TRUST ME!
Rooms are very well kept and clean.
If I could put negative starts I would. They jack up the price when we come to work at the paper mill because they know they are 1 of only 2 small hotels within a half hour drive. When this was brought to the attention of the man at the desk he became very argumentative. The ac did not blow cool even after I had to clean the inch of dust off of it that had been there forever it seemed. TV cable was broke they never came to fix so I had to. Worst hotel I have ever stayed in and I work on the road 10 months out of the year. Next time I will take the 30 minute drive or sleep in my truck instead of that place.. Do not stay there. Trust me!
